Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to commonly asked questions about our products and services.
What type of projects work best for off-site construction?
We can successfully offer our prefabricated services for single family homes, commercial projects and larger multifamily projects. Every project we work on is custom.
What’s the difference between a SIPs panel and your panelized system?
SIPs stands for “Structural Insulated Panel System” and uses a styrofoam core to add both structure and insulation values to the panel. TAG Panels uses standard light timber framing along with blown in cellulose insulation. We’ve removed the need for a 6mil poly vapor barrier.
I have an Architect and drawings ready, how do I know if my project is suitable for off-site construction?
Majority of projects can easily be prefab friendly. In fact, the majority of projects have worked on in the past weren’t designed specifically for prefab construction. However, if you’re able to have us involved earlier in the design process, usually for the better.
Do you offer house kits with off the shelf designs?
Every project we work on is 100% custom. If you’re not currently working with an Architect, please reach out and we can happily make a recommendation for you.
This is a big decision and I’m still not sure that I understand all of the benefits of choosing to build with off-site construction.
No problem and we understand. We suggest reaching out to us as we’re happy to discuss your project in further detail. We also offer free estimates with no further obligation.
